We are seeking qualified two Postdoctoral Research Fellows to join the School of Engineering with an international reputation for producing high quality research outcomes in Laser Physics and Engineering.

The successful candidates will make a significant contribution to the development of high-power pulsed fibre lasers that will be used for the precise shaping of human bone. The project involves working with an Australian company concerned in the development of highly advanced robotic techniques for orthopaedic surgery.

-光学和光子工程、物理学或相关学科的博士学位，和/或具备资格和技能的相关经验。

-A PhD in optical and photonics engineering, physics or a related discipline and/or relevant experience with combination of qualifications and skills.

-Experience in lasers, fibre optics, and optics experimentation, numerical modelling, and project management related research.

-Ability to undertake original experimental research, as evidenced by impactful and high-quality outputs.

-Ability to foster a nurturing environment for research students including the provision of research student supervision.

-Demonstrated capacity to work independently and as part of a team.

-Excellent oral and written communication skills.

-Highly developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to set priorities and to meet deadlines.

-Ability for analytical thinking and independent problem solving.
